I wanna touch the soft part of the bread Like a drowning man's hand To a lifeboat My hand clings to the crust My tears wet the bread But the crust is still hard And the drowning man still clings If he lets go who's gonna hear his screams? I'm picking up the bread to take a bite But instead I’m biting the tip of my tongue The blooming of the red everlasting wets the bread That with the blood and the tears finally softens I think I've lost it, I drop the bread It falls so softly Into the white plate I recognize a thin crack Looks like a hair, or it's just The impossible distance Between the eye and the heart.

And it ended just like that In the middle of a chat Whenever someone passes out I just walk away Coz somebody else will take care of him It's the millennium bug In the end there is no end Nothing will be spared Imperfect present perfect Better go to bed Just tell me What is the amount Of water in a leaf? The employees are now dismissed The stocks are on the rise Just like when we jumped from The school roof holding hands But nothing bad Ever happened It was all just fine And you dreamed of A cable car that sees All the pretty scenes Of the boy who threw a stone right At the middle of your forehead And about Auschwitz When the mud rose up And covered our legs.

Fairy Tale 03:26
On the subway today I saw a black unicorn With a white fairy beside her And he was holding her hand They were talking about a boy or a girl You know some fairy tales Are only real in New York But not so far ahead An always-land will rise And a half horse With fairy wings will feel free To fall in love With whoever he wants.
5.
The Flood 02:51
May the flood Come and wash us all Girls and boys Who were girls who were boys Folks, friends Let the children grow Or just bring the flood To wash us all Oh please don't even leave One pair of each And every monster's got a name (You know it's too late) But this is just too much May the flood Come and wash us all Girls and boys Who were girls who wear clothes God bless Let there be snow So the Tel Aviv kids play angels and glow.

It's Quiet 05:11
I can hear the house sink Every night Getting closer To the ground Back then We sat On the porch and our legs Legs of kids Who are in love Were dangling Floating in the air Faith in Eternity Now in a hurry to get out Through the window You're leaving me Far behind Hollow The height doesn't bother you The lintel kisses the floor They told Socrates "When the cold reaches the heart Then you die" I close the window And wait.

Sometimes on long drives When silence covers the car I'm sure the children in the back seat are dead Their necks are probably slashed They bleed a slow thick red On the light upholstery On the Black rubber mats And through the mirror I look It reflects nice The hollow horror that runs through my eyes And they're sleeping deep Too deep to notice.

I've Loved 03:32
So much love In the world It sometimes blows My heart To an empty balloon Losing height Moving slowly From a room To a room By the wind's grace I've loved the good ones I've loved the bad ones I've loved the strong ones I've loved the weakest I've loved the moonlight I've loved the sunshine I've loved the neighbor I've loved the stranger But I've never had enough love for me I’ve loved the babies I've loved the old ones I've loved the Jewish I've loved the Arab I've loved the straight ones I've loved the gays Loved the transgenders Non-binaries, androgyne, pangender and all the other genders I swear But I've never had enough love for me

Then 10:29
Back then I’ve discovered the taste Of the burning grass I've seen it all Through soap bubbles Music has taught me how to cry A girl how to shrink and let go Back then I knew as I know today But with less bitterness in the mouth When god Used to come down With her hair wet All the angels have stopped And I stood The words were rolling out With no divine intent Love is forgotten But a lover is not Most certainly not an arrangement of songs In a cassette With a black strip Like a tefillin of love Then I’ve learned how to know Broke all my promises To remember The eternity has A meaning only in youth Like an air solo guitar Like a first true love Then in school I've learned By law how I should spread Dots and lines and letters The movement of the poets And authors gave me signs In the one-meaning tangle Since then I've left my dreams Far behind of me loosened up the tangle I peek beneath the crowd To find a voice, to ask Not to know Here I came alone.

After it was done I broke the mirror down I collected The pieces back And I glued a suit Out of all the pieces And everyone who looks Sees himself Only sees himself.
